Learning kiteboarding on your holiday at one of the best kitesurf destinations in the world. This is possible in Cabarete. The kiteschool we work with, uses high quality and save equipment and the instructors are experienced and qualified to teach. And the kiteschool is more than that. Having lessons here does not only mean learning how to kitesurf in a safe way, but also means that you have a great time on the beach and in the water.
Lessons
We have lessons for beginners and advanced riders. For beginners we have full courses of three or four days (9 or 12 hours) and the possibility to takes less or more hours. All the lessons will be with a private teacher 1 on 1. Of course it is possible to adjust the content of the lessons, the amount of hours per lessons and total amount of hours to your preferences. If you already had some kitelessons you will continue with your instructor according to your skills and knowledge. All lessons are including equipment.
Introduction Kiting 1 hour: $ 60 / € 50
Private lessons 3 hours: $ 180 / € 150
9 hours course: $ 459 / € 383
12 hours course: $ 612 / € 510
If you become just as hooked on kiting as we are, you probably don't want to stop kiting when your lessons are finished. You can choose either to buy or to rent a equipment. When you rent equipment you can do this with supervision (somebody that helps you and looks after you the whole time) or without.
Supervised equipment rental:
$ 40 / € 33 per hour
Supervised equipment rental 3 hours:
$ 100 / € 80
Supervised equipment rental 9 hours:
$ 300 / € 250
Cabarete is also a great place to buy your own kite gear as it is much cheaper then in Europe and you dont have to pay shipping or tax. Together with the Kiteschool we offer you the opportunity to get the money back on the rental if you buy your own kite gear. You will get great deals on new or second hand equipment.
